Hello hello, friends! Lately my personal and work life has been getting in the way of my blogging. I first started blogging as a creative outlet because I was so bored with my life, but now I find myself staying up late to write blog posts or neglecting to do photoshoots because I just cannot find the time. Happy April! I feel like spring is finally here with this warm weather slowly arriving. My usual work wardrobe is different shades of black because most of my winter wardrobe is black and I can make a chic outfit in seconds. However, lately I have been choosing more color in my outfit choices. With a pop of pink or accessorizing with pastel jewelry I can get in the spring spirit! a perfect day off

During my college days I didn’t really get a weekend because my days off of class were spent grocery shopping, in the library writing a paper or catching up on some reading. On Saturdays, my roommate and I would do errands and on Sunday we would wake up early (10am) and grab some Dunkin on our way to the library to get school work done for the entire day. I recently spent the weekend with my old roommate when I went to visit her in Atlanta and we reminisced on our very dull but busy weekends. When I got my first full time job after graduation, I was very confused about what to do on the weekends because I didn’t have a paper to write or homework to do! I thought I would wake up early and go to a fitness class and do Sunday brunch with friends. Friday Favorites

Happy Friday! This was such a long week that felt like it dragged on forever! I had a lot of exciting things happen in my personal life lately including reconnecting with old friends and making new friends. I feel like we sometimes get into this slump and our days get so repetitive. Sometimes we need to reach out and make plans with an old friend and grab coffee or end the night with a face mask and a glass of wine to break away from our repetitive routines. One of my biggest New Years Resolutions is to travel and every year I budget for vacations big and small. One of the most difficult parts about life after college is that my friends are now all over the country. From Boston to Atlanta, there are a lot of miles that separate us. However, I am happy to report that with Snapchat and texting, we are able to remain in each others lives. One of the reasons I started my blog was to document what I was up to to easily share with friends.
