I found myself looking at jobs below the Mason Dixon Line lately because my body is just over the cold weather. I ran out for a few errands a few weeks ago and it took a lot of effort not to throw on leggings, Uggs and a sweatshirt. To compromise, I threw on a sweater, leggings and boots (ha!). I had an early hair appointment and the only reason I get out of bed early on a Saturday morning is for someone else to wash my hair and the fact that there is a Starbucks next door! Fun Flares

In college I played it safe and looked like everyone else. I dressed like everyone else, had long hair like all of the other girls and tried to blend in. I hated high school because of the feeling of never fitting in and in college I did everything to look like everyone else. Since graduating, I have found that my style has evolved and I like to take risks when it comes to fashion and style. In October 2015, I chopped off 13+ inches of hair to donate to Locks of Love. Then in November I went in for a trim and went for a shorter style. The last year I have been playing with a short stacked bob and now a lob. I feel the excitement of having short hair quickly fading. My hair is so long now compared to how it usually is. A coworker pointed out that my hair was not this long the previous week! Here’s a look I wore back when we had snow in Jersey! It was the day my family and I were going to Ikea to buy me a new dresser. Before leaving the house I threw on my Lululemon leggings, a black long sleeve shirt and Uggs, an outfit I have been wearing literally every day lately! After I looked in the mirror I told myself I needed to make more of an effort before leaving the house! In the winter months, I feel like all I wear is the color black, I literally live in my Lululemon leggings and Uggs.I have been making more of an effort to wear color during these cold, winter months.

I finally had an excuse to wear some of my birthday and Christmas presents! This sweater is from Banana Republic and while I cannot find the exact one, I did link a similar one below. It is so cozy and perfect for the winter months. I find myself buying boring black sweaters, so I love that I finally had a colorful sweater in my wardrobe. I am blessed with friends who spoil me because also I got a Tory Burch bag for my birthday that has been on my wishlist for a while. It was the perfect addition to this outfit for our little outing. I scored Tory Burch boots when they were on major sale during Cyber Monday. If you are going to invest in new boots, I suggest investing in Tory. Just wait for a sale and it makes the purchase a bit easier!

A fellow blogger (PrepsterAnge) pointed out that lately I haven’t been blogging as much as I usually do. I feel like the last few months life has been so busy with the holidays and it getting dark outside so early I never had time to take photos for Blonde Rosie. I started this blog a few years ago because I was bored and needed a hobby. I didn’t care if no one read my posts or cared about what I was wearing, but I had so much fun doing it! Then I started to run into friends and family and they would compliment me on my blog or say that they looked forward to posts every week. I don’t plan to make money with Blonde Rosie, but I wear really cute outfits and feel it’s a shame not to share it with the world wide web! I hope to be more involved in my blog in 2017 and make some improvements. This started off with some cute outfits and some Post Grad Life advice, but now Blonde Rosie will be going in a new direction (TBD)! If you want to see certain things on Blonde Rosie definitely let me know! I love to do photoshoots and write, so let me know what you want to see!

For some reason I got the week off for both jobs and I have been doing a lot of lounging in bed catching up on my Netflix shows. I am in the process of doing another Netflix Recommendation post too because I am going through shows like crazy! I am a big Target fan, and I cut my spending budget once I switched jobs, so I had to stop my weekly trips to Target. In December, I broke my rule and did some Christmas shopping at Target and immediately fell in love with this fleece sweatshirt. I didn’t have the funds to spend money on another sweatshirt so I had to walk out without it. But luckily, Santa delivered it under the tree for me. I have been wearing this nonstop since I got it! Hurry up and go to Target because this is the most comfortable sweatshirt I own! And the pom poms are just too cute!!
