Sharing all of my favorite things lately on the blog today. Most days I feel rushed going to work, being on my feet all day running around and then driving an hour home exhausted with still so much to do before I go to bed. With all the craziness, I still take the time to find a favorite thing of that day. Even if it is small like wearing a cute outfit or being able to finish my coffee that morning when it was actually hot. The little things in life!! January has flown by and this month has proven that 2018 is full of opportunities.
I didn’t tell many people, but I spent the month interviewing for a job in Philadelphia. Lots of driving back and forth for interviews, but right now it’s in the Universe’s hands. Even if this job doesn’t work out, I know that the city of Brotherly Love is calling my name. I’ve started to pack up my things, pick out furniture and start saving as much as I can for the upcoming move. It’s a scary leap, but I’m excited to get this new chapter started.
Even with my busy schedule, I’ve been setting my alarm for 6am every morning lately to get the most out of the day. I know- I’m crazy!! But I love these extra hours in the day. This is something I am trying to keep up with every morning. I hate just waking up, going to work then coming straight home and off to bed for the night.
Now that the snow is (hopefully!) over, I’ve been wearing my flats every day at work. I’m done with the boots! To stay warm, I’ve been layering up with cute vests like this one. The one I’m wearing is now 50% off too! I am so over winter and the cold and snow that comes with it. I will be layering until Spring decides to finally arrive.
I have had my eyes on this bag for a few years but just couldn’t justify spending the money. For my birthday, Tory Burch sent me a gift card, so I used it on this bag making the purchase a bit easier to buy. I wrapped it up and put it under the tree and wrote “To Rosie. From Rosie” on the tag because this was a big purchase for myself. I’ve been using it as a work bag this month and my favorite part is that it fits all of my snacks! Also, these red shoes have been on my wishlist for a while and I’m so happy I finally bought them. They are such a fun work shoe!
Okay, I have a sweater you need to buy in every color. I wore it to work with a big scarf and it was so cozy! It’s casual enough I can wear with jeans or with black work pants to an office.
I am so excited to have the opportunity to work with Maybelline this month on the blog. They sent me a box of complementary products and I am in love with the pink! You can read my reviews and see my pop of pink look when I wrote all about it on the blog earlier this month here.
I’ve been such an introvert lately, so I’m excited to force myself out of the house once in a while. Over the weekend, my friend brought me to a bar called Mix and we went out for a martini or two. I forgot how much fun it is to be social ha!
