If you have been reading my blog the past year, at least once a month I start a blog post with “So I was purging my closet and…”. But seriously, I have started to simplify my life and get rid of clutter and unnecessary items. My biggest obstacle is my closet… Every few months I go in an donate clothes I haven’t touched in months. I try to find a reason for each piece in my closet and if I can’t, it gets donated. In my most recent closet purge, I found a lot of corduroy pants in the back of my closet. I am not sure when I purchased these, but these J. Crew Toothpick Corduroy pants have been on repeat all winter. I wore them to the office earlier this week and dressed them up with some heels. In my office they can’t turn off the air conditioning so I freeze the entire day, so they give me a pass on dressing up in the office. Lately, I have been getting bored with wearing jeans and leggings are not always appropriate! For a dressier look I have been wearing corduroys and did I mention how warm they are!? If you are looking to add some colorful pants to your wardrobe, corduroy pants are the way to go! I have a few flare corduroy pants when I need to be a bit more dressy for the office because they look just like dress pants, but I can also dress them down with a t shirt.
