Whether you are looking for a destination for a girls trip or a weekend getaway, Austin is the perfect place for a trip. Known for its music scene, quirky stores, and good food there is something for everyone in this city. One of the best parts about Austin is that it is a walking friendly city so wear your walking shoes as you wander around the city. While you are checking out the shops, be sure to keep an eye out for murals around the city! I had the chance to visit a few years ago because of a wedding in the Austin area. After only having time for a day trip, Austin quickly made it’s way on my list of places to visit because there is so much to do and eat!
