What a week! It was one of those weeks that flew by but I also can’t remember what I did on Monday because it seems like forever ago. The weather has definitely warmed up a little which has been a very nice surprise! Funny how warm 40-degree weather is compared to negative temperatures.
Over the weekend, my friends and I went to the movies to escape the bitter cold and saw How to Train Your Dragon. Super cute movie and I may have cried at the end shhh!!! My original plan was to have people come over for the Superbowl on Sunday night but peoples schedules changed and we weren’t really feeling the game. I did use the day to clean my apartment which needed a deep clean!
My week has honestly been uneventful with the same routine of work, home, gym some days and catching up on my shows. I did learn that one of my friends from college is moving to Philly (yay!) so she will be visiting in a few weeks for a job interview and to look at apartments. On Thursday, I got a text from a friend informing me of a bug issue in her apartment so she and her roommate slept over my place.
What I’m Watching
I finished watching American Crime Story: The Assination of Gianni Versace on Netflix. Highly recommend!
Products I’m Loving
This week, I made it a goal to actually use the free samples of products I have collected over the years. At night I would use a new face cleanser or mask and my goal is to use these products instead of saving them for special occasions. Under my sink, I keep a bin full of samples that I’ll use “one day”. I do keep the mini shampoos for travel because they are so much easier to pack in a toiletry bag.
What I’m Loving
This popular Madewell top from last year is back in stock! I have a feeling it is going to sell out again.
There is a lot of news every day so to stay informed I read The Skimm every morning.
The new FabFitFun boxes for Spring are about to be shipped out. Use my link for $10 off your FabFitFun subscription!
My nail color this week in case you care!
I found a $10 tool to clean your make up brushes. Something similar was on sale during the Nordstrom anniversary sale for a lot more money so I would scoop up this great deal.
It warmed my heart to see the launch of Kate Spade’s new line, Frances Valentine with Rachel Brosnahan as the face of the brand. This fashion label is the classic and original Kate Spade that we all fell in love with!
