Making My Bedroom Cozy for Winter

I love my bedroom and it is everything I ever imagined it would be when I had my very own big girl apartment! My bedroom got a little refresh for the winter and here are some of my tips to make your bedroom extra cozy for the long winter months ahead!

Flannel Bedding

Hands down is the best investment you can make in the winter! For those cold nights, I love to climb into my bed because I can quickly get warm under my flannel sheets. I found a similar pattern to my Christmas flannel sheets from the same brand.

Lots of Pillows

I love having a gazillion pillows on my bed making it the perfect place to watch a movie or snuggle up with a good book. I’ve also never met a decorative pillow I never liked! I like to switch mine out depending on the season to keep my bedroom fresh and festive. You can find cute affordable ones at Target and Homegoods.

Fluffy Throw Blankets

I have baskets and baskets of throw blankets around my apartment because they are the best thing to curl up with! These are my favorite and worth every penny!

Slippers

Next to my bed, I keep a basket of slippers because they are one of my favorite things to put on after a long day of work. I even named my slippers “slippies” because that is how attached I got to them! For those cold mornings, they are the first thing I put on when I get out of bed to get ready for work. I rotate between mocassins and my bow slippers.

Invest in a Fluffy Robe

I loooove wearing this robe around my apartment. I practically live in it because I throw it on when I get out of bed in the morning and I put it on over my pajamas at night when I am around the apartment. The best part is the hood and it has pockets!!

Candles

I love to have a candle burning at night because it always calms and relaxes me. My goal is to not buy another candle this year so I can finally use up al of the ones sitting in my cabinet unused!
