I swore that I would never be an outfit repeater, however, this houndstooth skirt has been on repeat since I bought it in October. After seeing other bloggers where it on Instagram and it sitting in my shopping cart for weeks, a coworker came into work wearing this skirt. She came over to my desk showing off her skirt because she was just as obsessed with it as I was. The houndstooth is classic and honestly, any top easily matches with it making it so easy to get dressed in the morning. I cannot recommend this skirt enough and you can wear it in so many different ways! I’m not kidding when I say that I wear this skirt at least once a week and it is so much fun to style with sweaters or blouses!

This skirt is also very affordable when there is a sale going on. The elastic waist makes it easy to adjust the length and tuck sweaters in. I paired it with a black turtleneck sweater from Brooks Brothers, tights and booties but I also wore it with a black tissue turtleneck to work last week.

These turtlenecks will change your life I swear! They are super thin so you don’t feel like you are suffocating when you wear them. Lately, I have been wearing them under dresses for warmth or with jeans and black boots. Add a sparkly accessory and they are work appropriate with the right skirt!

My best friend texted me a few weeks to ask what I wanted for Christmas and I immediately asked for these velvet bow hair ties. She fell in love with them herself and bought one for herself too! A week later, Kate Middleton was seen wearing the same exact hair tie! I can’t always afford what the Royals wear, but this is one accessory we can all buy!

You know what you can never have too many of? Blanket scarves! I like to wear mine as an oversized scarf or wear it as a shawl in the office if it is cold. I am loving this pink and grey pattern one!
