This was one of those outfits I bought for my Florida trip that was never worn. It has been sitting in my closet waiting for the right occasion and I thought why not for Easter? I know it is the traditional pastel spring dress day, but I thought why not do things differently this year? I am a dress girl and love any occasion to wear one. Dresses are what I feel most comfortable in because you can dress them up or down very easily. A jumpsuit however, this is a bold move for me! I found this jumpsuit while browsing at Anthropologie and I just tried it on because my mom made me. My mom is always complaining how boring my wardrobe is and how I am afraid to wear prints and bold pieces. When I came out of the fitting room it was such a statement piece, I had to have it! I also like how the legs are a flare instead of a skinny leg. It looks like a dress, but it is actually a jumpsuit. And it is so comfortable!
The jumpsuit can be a sexy statement outfit because it is all cleavage on the top. I hid my cleavage with a big statement necklace since we were at a family event and to add some color to the outfit. If I were to wear this at a dinner, I would definitely go with wedges to add some wow to the outfit. I knew we were going to be in the backyard with kids so I wore my Tory Burch flats to keep it safe.
And how cute is this basket purse!? It is old, but every summer I bring it out and use it as an everyday purse. Basket purses are everywhere this summer and it is a nice way to add an accessory to an outfit.
